SHEILA SCOTT

Sheila Scott has been running the finance + operations side of creative businesses for more than 25 years. She has worked with critically + commercially acclaimed musicians, interior designers and creative agencies. 

Prior to launching Q, she worked as COO with several high-profile interior design firms in the Bay Area. She also co-owned an interior design firm in Los Angeles reviving it from the brink of bankruptcy to a multi-million dollar firm within 9 months.

While attending UW-Madison she toyed with the idea of becoming an architect. In the end, she graduated with a degree in Journalism which she jokes had nothing to do with what she did for the next 20 years. Instead, she enjoyed a successful bi-coastal career in the music industry managing alternative rock bands. Those of a certain age may be familiar with a few of them. 

Sheila also holds certification in Human Resources Management from UC-Berkeley.
